Classes
ADULTS
MMA1
This class is equally good for beginners as well as advanced participants. Here you will work on fundamental standup (boxing, kickboxing), clinch (muay thai/wrestling/judo) and ground (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) techniques. This class will give you a solid base in MMA.
MMA2
This class is for students who are qualified to participate. We will work on more advanced scenarios, techniques and sparring. Ideal if you are interested in competing or would like to take your game to the next level.
BJJ (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) all levels
A Martial Art and Combat Sport that focuses on Grappling and especially ground fighting with the goal of gaining dominant position and using joint-locks and chokeholds to force an opponent to submit. BJJ promotes the principle that a smaller, weaker person using leverage and proper technique can successfully defend themselves against a bigger stronger opponent. Most classes are broken up into four segments: 1) Light sport specific warm up. 2) Technique of the day. 3) Drilling technique of the day. 4) Sparring.
Fitness Kickboxing
Learn real kickboxing skills while getting a great workout! Light contact sparring and partner drills keep it fun!
KIDS
Kids Mixed Martial Arts 5-11
A fun class where kids are taught through positive reinforcement and example. This class is based more on a sports model of building self esteem and good behavior through performance and a nurturing environment.
TeenMMA 12-17
The first MMA class specifically designed for teens in the Bay Area. Here teens will find a positive environment that promotes respect for their parents, peers and teachers. They will learn real self defense skills and are taught that fighting is always the last resort in any sort of conflict, and should be avoided if possible. Safety is paramount and we provide a happy and safe place for teens to train. |
